They started late — but they started. That’s what matters. Their story reminded me that exercise, connection, and time outdoors are the foundations of a long, healthy life.

Develop a plan to get active and healthy as you age. Focus on activities that are low impact, easily accessed and social in nature. You can maintain and even increase your strength, endurance, and mobility as you age.Â
