One of my earliest jobs as a teenager was being a Busboy in a popular Italian restaurant. They were so busy they had 2 kitchens, one for all the pizza they made and one for all the other food they served. I worked hard… cleaning up tables and helping the serving staff, bartenders and cooks wherever I could. I was proud to do the work, but didn’t want that lifestyle long term.
I stayed in school and earned 2 advanced degrees but after a 15-year corporate career, I wanted more out of life. One day after work I attended an event where I met people nowhere near as “educated” as I was but who were happier and had more time, flexibility and money to spend with their families doing the things they loved.
I left my job and focused on learning different approaches to the creation of income and wealth which were not taught in school. I started instilling those principles in my daughter when she was 6 years old to accelerate the knowledge and skills she needs to become financially secure. My first book, RENTING FROM MY 6-YEAR-OLD, is the story of how I started teaching these lessons to my daughter.
