Welcome to The Hip Replacement Podcast – a show by a hip replacement patient FOR hip replacement patients, their families and friends.

Whether you're preparing for surgery, in recovery, or just looking to move and live better — you're in the right place.

Artificial hips are mechanical components.

There could be friction between parts, which can cause squeaking or grinding.

Lubricating helps reduce friction.

Stay hydrated.

Stretch the muscles.

Exercise all sides of the legs.

Increase range of motion to lubricate joint.
